Biography
Anlach has a highly developed sense of smell. It is so strong that he can smell water from yards away and even deep underground. While like his parents he can produce fresh water himself, Anlach knows this is a limited supply. But, if he's able to sniff out a source of water, there's never a worry of dehydration. Anlach is also becoming adapt at digging up any underground springs he finds and sinking wells into the water. He prefers to have help since it's no easy feat to dig deeply. |

Anlanch wasn't fond of the Bone Forest. There was something unsettling about it, and he wanted to be gone. The worst qualities of the Arcane and Plague flights combined here to create something even worse, a corruption which soaked into the silty dark ground, the bare white trees, and the wretched, polluted water. That last piece, of course, was why he was here in the first place. The land he could do nothing about, but the water... That was his calling. There were few places that needed him more than here. In the midst of the decaying woods and bare rocky riverbeds, he was surprised to find life. Not just a stray crow or a twitching, twenty-horned rabbit, but an entire little town. It was a sorry sight, with hasty shacks and scavenged tents, but it was impressive for its tenacity. He made his way up towards it, shaking the muck of the river from his claws and hoping he didn't smell too terrible from wading in it all day. A few dragons looked up at him, suspicious and guarded. "Would you mind telling me who's in charge of the supplies here? I think I can help." he ventured, wary of their icy stares. A single dragon spoke up, voice clipped and eyes narrow, "You'll want to talk to Break. The white Nocturne over that way." The dragon flicked their tail, and Anlach looked up. A chill ran down his spine- she was staring right at him. He cautiously made his way up to her. He hoped she'd see sense, either they were drinking from that river (he shuddered at the thought) or they were hauling water from some place vastly inefficient. If they'd let him stay in their little camp, perhaps his qquest to purify at least some of tis awful land wouldn't be so miserable... Or so lonely. They'd both benefit. |
