______ It's so unfair breeze thought, looking at all of the beautiful dragons around her. I had been here since the beginning I was the first of the clan. My mate Thunder and I had been here forever yet I have no say in anything. He was obsessed with the dragons covered in metal or as I liked to think of them as, freaks. They were an abomination to our kind, I know it's not their fault but still I don't want them to be apart of our clan. Some might think of me as jealous and maybe I was, I mean no one gave me a second glance. Even my own mate preferred the company of the other more beautiful dragons to mine. The worst of all was that stupid dusk, she had been one of the earlier metal freaks that we picked up and my mate had become infatuated with her. I mean it was fair I guess she was absolutely stunning, with her pink feathers and just a small amount of metal surrounding her that brought out her colors even more. I know that i'm unfair of course my mate should surround himself with beautiful dragons, it's what's best for him and in a way the clan. But it still hurts to be pushed into the shadows.
