Carnage was brought up in an abusive lair in the Abiding Boneyard. She was desperate to escape the leader of the lair, and so when she saw a chance to run away with a dashing Skydancer named Charles who lived in the Snowsquall Tundra, she took it. Charles was kind and charismatic, and on their journey together Carnage fell madly in love with him. Once they got to his clan, though, he told brought her to the freezing oceanfront to talk to her. He told her that he loved her, but when they went in for a kiss, he pushed her into the frozen water. She had never felt that cold, and her body went into shock. She drowned. Her soul was stuck with her body, though, crying and heartbroken, until a kind dragon, Icicle, fished out her floating body and gave her a proper burial. Carnage has forever been grateful, and so she watches over Icicle’s Clan and saves all of their hatchlings from getting too close to the water.
