H e wanted a normal life! No murder, no tricks, no lies, no malefic illusions. He just wanted to see the world! Sterling left behind his parents, along with the rest of the cult, so he could become a diplomat, seeking to create peace between warring clans, and hopefully, between dragons and beastfolk.

He's kind, but slightly neurotic, and quick to assume he's being cheated due after growing up with his deceitful parents, though he's equally quick to forgive and apologize when presented with proof of one's intent. Unusually pacifistic for a mirror, he rarely gets into physical combat, usually preferring to try and talk down aggressors.

When he's not acting as a diplomat, he enjoys watercolor painting, particularly landscapes.

He decided to follow one of his brothers, dispite the trouble his brother can cause, they have a bond to one another that follows them. Even outside of the cult they were born into.
