A child from the depths of space, perhaps even another dimension. What lies at the other end of a black hole? Petrichor's gaze implies that he might know.
Although he is a youngling, Petrichor, at his core, has seen eons flash by—perhaps in the rudimentary form of the floating icy chunks floating at the very edge of the Solar System—what Earthlings refer to as the Kupier Belt.
He does not emanate cold. Rather, he absorbs heat. It's a strange vacuum kind of pull, but it pulls at your very sense of self. Eerie, unsettling, but not malignant. You just don't know what to make of this feeling, as if you were literally being detached from your body.
One day, after being pushed out of his clutch by a potent swath of solar wind, Petrichor crossed paths with a similar celestial being whose radiance melted into his own, like adjacent wavelengths that waver between frequencies ever so slightly. An invisible dance, nascent magnetism.
Icy and particulate like him, this spacial Coatl shared her thoughts and feelings with Petrichor without speaking, in a way that neither of them could begin to explain, like they had been formed from the same cosmic materials. Together they followed a trail of shimmering air that lead them straight to the Silvercraft Coven, where they were greeted by inquisitive witches and ethereal beings alike.
