My soul was as icy as they came
And of all the dragons out there

I was born of light and darkness
And you were the first to melt my cold
You were like the sun - warm and distant
To my silver you were gold

And you were as brilliant as the sunlight
You shone brighter than all in the clan
But somehow your light didn't blind you
For you sought to understand

When we first met, you were but a student
I thought a child was all you'd ever be
But somehow with all your brilliance
You managed to connect with me

You were my sister and my best friend
You didn't flinch like others from my cold
You stayed with me through thick and thin

I thought we would last forever
I thought we knew each other's hearts
So why is it that on that day
We started to drift apart?

You knew I was a traveller
I thought they'd tell you where I was to go
