Hatched with a hide of the plagueiest of dragons and grew up among nocturnes who think that's super cool. Likes putting together appearances that present an instant full impression of who or what she is that changes with every look she puts on or off. Works as a professional bogy and costumer in haunted houses. Busiest time of her year is around the Riot of Rot, closely followed by the Trickmurk Circus, with costume commissions and smaller festival spook events in between. By some mysterious correlation is also very good at cake decorating, although the cakes don't usually end up looking creepy. (The rare times that is called for, they look impressively creepy.) |

Almost never pranks anyone—which leads dragons who believe all shadowlings have such instincts to decide she sublimated hers into her work—except for when truly beautiful opportunities fall into her lap, and also every time she has a chance to tell someone "I'm Male" and unhelpfully enjoy their confusion over name or gender. Yu is frequently involved in these situations because he makes the best straight drake ever. Tigris is sort of horrified by her general existence (which does not mean appearance, really, and has nothing to do with the circumstances under which they met) and so tries to pretend she doesn't. |

Best friend since hatchlinghood is Peropteryx the serthis, met when they were both inadvisably out exploring alone. He tried to bite her, she evaded by jamming her seedpearl in between his jaws, and his venom etched a new layer onto her soul, forever entwining their fates. So they stopped fighting and she politely asked for her pearl back and if he wanted to explore together. They're rarely apart ever since. They groom each other's whiskers, he gives excellent advice on scary body language and hugs, she offers feedback on camouflage and an everpresent heat source, and they both like the same kinds of escape-the-trap and cunning-trickster stories. He calls her Malice (which is a compliment). She calls him Proper (which is an affirmation). |

Peropteryx lost to his clutchmates in their battles for dominance as an adolescent so is now a caste of just himself but he has a dragon. A good ally for intimidation and distraction from his ambushes given her size, and a really good ally for not backstabbing ever not even a little. Also a good study opportunity for what dragons fear, except dragons apparently face what they fear on purpose... to scare themselves...? or something, clearly it requires further study. Does not get on with the other serthis around Haidee the loremaster apprentice, not because of eye color (what is with dragons' obsession with eye color?), but because one of her clan's ancestors basely betrayed and cut the rattle off one of his and then claimed it was revenge for one of his basely yanking the fangs out of one of hers instead of admitting to having started it. |

| Remy gave Malia and Proper fantastic sources of inspiration for future costumes and scenery - just look at the creepy patterning! (They're also super comfy. The only problem is she can't look at them while she or Proper are lounging against them.) |
