B I O G R A P H Y
When she was young, she seemed unnatural. As soon as she hatched, she was capable of speech, thought, and dreaming. Barely able to toddle around, and she was smarter than most adult dragons. She was too smart, too intent on questioning the world around her. When she began to question the rule of dragons and the Eleven, though, she crossed a line. She was abandoned among the scraps of metal and wire, with little to no food to eat. There, she was expected to die.
Die, she did not. Instead, she thrived. Away from the traditional teachings and rules, she invented and she observed. It was not dragons that she learned from, but Beastclans. She found their customs, their culture, and the way they live fascinating. As a dragon, she knew she would not be welcome. She was not stealthy, so she could not observe stealthily, but she could create. And create she did. By sheer ingenuity, she created near life-like robots, robots that became her only companions.
As she grew, she realized that clans provided new ideas, food, and, most importantly, protection. Despite being alone her entire childhood and young adulthood, her observations allowed her to blend in to a small degree. She was still eccentric, but she could pass for a functioning member of society. However, she never gained faith in the Eleven. Sure, she believes they exist, but she believes that the Beastclan deities are more worthy of praise than the Eleven. When her previous clan discovered her Beastclan robots and heretical worship of Beastclan deities, she was outcast, and wandered for years until she found a new clan.
V A L U E S
____She values strength, creativity, and intelligence above all. With those things having allowed her to survive in the wastes where she was abandoned, she does not think highly of those who lack even one of those traits. She has also come to value art in its many forms over the years.Living in a clan taught her that you do not exist to survive, but to live, and to her art is one of the things that makes life worth living. She also knows the value of materials and food, and prizes those who can make them.
____She detests any sort of waste. The fact that anyone can stand to ruin food or supplies because it isn’t perfect infuriates her. She also hates giving offerings to the Eleven or other gods because, as she sees it, they are deities who have no need of such things. She also abhors people too stuck in tradition to see or progress. She is of the opinion that progress will happen either way, why not be the catalyst? The personality trait she hates the most in others is excessive ego. She believes that one must be able to prove their worth, not just state it.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
____She is eccentric, to say the least. Despite having lived in and out of clans for the past couple of years now, her wild and unsocialized childhood has clearly made a lifelong impact on her. She has no idea how to be polite. She will ask blunt questions and make rude observations, and not understand why people get upset with her. If she grows bored with the current conversation, she is liable to leave in the middle of it without saying anything. She also seems outwardly detached from the rest of the clan, due to her strange way of conversing, and the fact that she appears quite rude.
____Once you get past her rude exterior, it is obvious that she grows attached quickly. She emotionally clings to anyone who shows her affection, and is willing to put up with more, as she terms it, useless conversation, from these people. Once she picked up on humor, she gained a sharp wit and tongue. She enjoys witty jokes, but a bad science pun every once in a while is also funny to her. She isn’t likely to express affection in words, but instead through presents. A small wind up doll, or a nut or bolt, are the same as a couple of kind words to her.
