Death Seeker familiar

Eerie has a mysterious connection with death seekers; an innate ability to communicate with them and understand one another. They follow her command. This particular death seeker flies beside her like a second shadow. They are inseparable. During its moulting season, Eerie lovingly collects its biggest feathers and wears them on her wings as a token of affection.

Her dearest friend since small days. An unfortunate downside of her gift is the inability to speak. Whisper is the only dragon in Sornieth who can completely understand her; her interpreter when she wants to communicate – even to fellow faes.

The head guardian who takes orders from her. Despite the glaring difference in size and power, they share a mutual, deep-rooted respect. Words are not always necessary.

The clan’s overzealous treasurer has her unwavering trust. When he was a fledgling, she swooped into Everbloom Gardens with a murder of death seekers to save him from defectors of the Centaur Beastclan. Amethyst holds her in high regard; she is the only dragon allowed to take from the vault without a fuss.

personality

Eerie’s death seeker familiars are her eyes and ears; nothing can hide from her for long. She is kind and cunning, and her intelligence is not to be underestimated. Despite being mute, she’s a playful and sociable shadow fae. She treats her clan like her own children.

She often wishes she could talk to other dragons herself. Her personal hoard holds a beautiful glass seeker eye, black feathers, a favorite snack – twilight jewel moths, and her pride and joy; a collection of black chess trinkets.

Eerie keeps an eye out for a king to complete her set.
