Biography
Tryl is an interesting dragon to say the least. He is constantly forging ahead, ignoring any warnings from his clanmates. Logic and caution is thrown to the wind at the very second he gets an idea. Tryl is a very excitable and happy dragon; it is nearly impossible to take away his smile.
Tryl is an inventor, although his clanmates will probably scoff at that statement and say he is a mad scientist. Tryl is always finding inspiration for inventions, then rushing away leaps to work without a second thought. Hesitation doesn’t seem to be in his vocabulary. Almost half the time his creations will blow up in his face…. or go start packing purple plum and pecan pies into a packet of pink plumes (long story, the moral of which is that machines that work off the letter P is a bad idea). Although he will have some good ideas that actually work at times.
Neren is Tryl’s much more reasonable mate. Why in the name of the Shadowbinder they get along is a question no one will ever get an answer to. She is much more scientific and serious than Tryl and his exploits.

“Oh, please!” laughed Tryl, “It is brilliant!”
“That is what you said last time… and the time before that.”
Tryl didn’t look up from his nearly-finished invention. “I know you are rolling your eyes back there!” He chuckled, knocking his wrench against the silver metal as he tightened a few screws. “Besides, what could go wrong with a multi-dimensional time traveler portal?
“Did you not just hear yourself? Besides, I just don’t want the ‘spaghetti fiasco’ all over again.” Neren sighed, placing a claw on her mate’s shoulder.
Tryl looked up at Neren with a reassuring smile. “It will be fine,” he promised, “Just need to….” He flicked a switch.
He yelped with surprise as the invention burst open with a loud pop and it exploded.
Tryl found himself on the floor once he regained his senses. Smoke had filled the room and his vision was blurry from the blast. His eyes stung. He fell into a coughing fit, pushing himself up.
“Are you alright!?” Neren raced to his side, frowning with worry.
“Fine!” replied Tryl, “I’m fine! There has been worse, like the time that it literally burnt down the workshop-oh, I should make sprinklers that flood the room when there is smoke! Or maybe-”
“Yeah, you’re definitely fine,” Neren said with a sigh of relief.
Tryl’s curious gaze shifted to his creation. “My invention!” he cried, seeing how it had been reduced to rubble.
“Better it than you,” Neren claimed, waving the smoke away with her wings.
“True,” he murmured, “Uh, want to go get some dinner?”
