❝ you surrender your heart, i surrender every dream ┄┄┄┄┄ ❞ xxxxxunfortunately for amelia, she takes after her biological father in the sense that she's quite megalomaniacal and stubborn. her arrogance seems to know no end. despite this, her analytical and abstract mindset makes up for it. amelia speaks with an advanced vocabulary, but only to seem smarter and better than those around her. she's not the kindest or most selfless person around, rather pretentious and narcissistic. xxxxxamelia is a half-blooded masdurettian, carrying on a valkyrie-necromancer lineage. her father, terrance elwyn, longed for a son to create the perfect family. thus, when amelia was born, he changed entirely. what was once a loving husband diminished into an abusive rat who shamed his wife for the daughter they had created. at age four, amelia skadis elwyn was thrown into an orphanage ten miles off from her hometown which had gone up in flames. unknown to her, terrance watches her mother burn to death only six hours later. amelia spends three years in the orphanage before she is adopted by the royal family, making her the fourth heir to the throne of masdurett. while she isn't satisfied with being the fourth in line, she is content with her capabilities in magick which far surpass most in the kingdom, matching up to the fey. amelia is the keeper of the grimoires in the grand library, as written in the seventh generation prophecy. xxxxxamelia's sapphire amulet is one that stays on her at all times. it is the key that grants her access to the grimoires, as well as an energy amplifier suited to her magickal needs. at the final phase of the devil's war, amelia's soul is bound to it by natalie's hand to ensure that she does not die. |

Q : Amelia, did you ever seek vengeance against your father based on his terrible actions towards you? What was your reaction when you found out what had become of your hometown?
A : "that night..." the fourth heir started, drawing in a breath. "i remember waking up in a flurry of smoke— it was not my home that was up in flames. my mother and father had left me alone to assist in drowning out the fires. my mother came back for me and took me to the orphanage. she told me she would come get me once the fires were put out but she... never did. that is how i knew my hometown perished— as did my mother."
"i do not think about my father a lot. i believe fate will ensure his suffering. knowing that he survived the fire angered me as i first arrived at the palace but i believe the gods have a way. and if not, i will take the place of the gods to punish him for his crimes."

Q : Amelia, why are you not satisfied in being fourth in line for the throne? Surely, with powers like yours, you can find a unique approach for gaining the power you seem to desire.
A : "i suppose i will only be satisfied when i am the sole heir to the throne." there's a glare in amelia's eyes as she speaks. "still, my heart is sore thinking about how much of a megalomaniac my father was, and how i seem to have taken after him in this aspect. i do have all of the power i could ever want, yes? never a chance to use it, however. there are many protocols that come with being a child of royalty. i am the fourth in line due to my age and lineage. i was only adopted, after all. furthermore, the current first heir..." she trails off, brows furrowed. allan masdurett was quite a... subject to deal with.
"he is... fiery. he used to be quite humble but as of late has become corrupt. getting in his way would be the end of my life."

Q : Amelia, what's it like having powers such as yours? Does it make you feel special? How do you like to use them?
A : "obviously i feel as though i am of utmost importance in masdurett, knowing that i, a simple half-masdurettian lacking any fey blood have powers that match up to their kind. in that sense, i know that i am special. there is no regular way to use aura manipulation, however, unless i feel like reading into the emotions and dispositions of those that surround me, which i do not.
"i take no interest in the lives of others aside from my family. being able to see the energies of all living things around you is a very grounding way to meditate, though."
