Hyacinth's role is to educate the hatchlings of the clan. She teaches them about Sornieth's history and prepares them for their future. She also makes sure to highlight the similarities and differences between dragonkind, focusing on the idea that they can all live together no matter where they come from.

Even when she's not teaching in a formal setting, Hyacinth is approached by hatchlings and adults alike when they have a question concerning history, or how they might interact with another dragon they're not familiar with.
