The dark blue sea had always been the home to this dragon for centuries. Most of his years, he would roam around exploring the deep dark until he was too tired to move another step. He had no home and nowhere to return to, so he would settle down wherever he ended up, until he had enough energy to continue his journey. Years went by as Nane ventured the sea until he ended up meeting the one that would change his life forever. The young dragon told him his life was not meant to be the way it was, that Nane had to get out of his comfort zone to find himself in a happy life full of love. Curious as he is, he thought about this for months to come. What was he supposed to do? What did it mean to get out of his comfort zone, when he didn't even know what his own comfort zone was? Month after month he kept searching for the answer, until he stumbled upon the shores and felt fear coming over him. This was exactly what stepping out of his comfort zone meant. To leave the sea and venture out on land. He slowly stepped out of the water, into the sand and onto the grass. Never had he felt this kind of grass under his feet. It was so soft he had no intentions to step away so soon. He laid down to feel it even better. It was so soft, compared to the seabed. He soon fell asleep on the soft grass, not fearing what might be around him. As the sun peeked over the mountains, he woke up. Never had he had such a good night sleep before. It was a whole new level of comfortable. As he sat up, he spotted something strange further away. It was a big forest. Only had he heard stories of those. He spent weeks in those woods, running around and enjoying himself. Never had he felt this free and happy in his life. He would explore every corner of the small forest he had claimed as his own home since the moment he saw it. His new home was full or resources and food he could use to his advantage. He started making a nest in hope of meeting a mate in the near future, and stocked up on food for every hungry soul passing by. Every now and then someone would come by and kindly accept his food before continuing their own journey. As curious as Nane is, he decided to go on a small journey himself. Just as he got over the border to The Sunbeam Ruins, Nane stumbled upon a Wildclaw girl sleeping peacefully in high grassy fields. This was the first time he had met one of his own kind, and he was curious about her. When he approached her, she woke up by his steps. She was dehydrated and very hungry from her long journey and couldn't hunt for herself. Nane offered his help, and stayed with her during the day, feeding her and giving her something to drink. They went along very well, and they decided to accompany each other. When the journey was coming to an end, the Wildclaw girl called Nefertari, decided to join him and accompany Nane home to where he was living. They both developed such a strong bond after meeting, and soon ended up becoming mates. They started building their own Clan and home, where they could be happy with everything they got and with each other. |
