Andvari once considered himself normal, until one day, his fate finally crossed paths with him. There was a ship, beached up on the rocks of the Ashfall Wastes. He found it so incredibly odd that he just had to come closer and figure out what was behind it all. Why would there be a ship in the middle of the hottest place in Sorineth? And when he approached, it couldn’t be more terrifying to find out that the voice that was inquiring about his intentions was from the ship itself. He still teases her about the fact that she thought he was going to pillage her. After learning that she was a ship that was constructed in the Wastes themselves, and expertly made to cross the roughest seas and churning rivers of fire, he was filled with a desire to have her all for himself. If he were to be the perfect pirate, with a partner like her, he would be absolutely unstoppable. He had asked her what it would take to work alongside a beauty such as herself, and she had merely responded: be my captain. Of course, he would have to repair her in order to set her to sail anew. But that wasn’t a problem for him. With the promise of a lot of treasure, a life of adventure and thrill, and most importantly, of a ship with a charming personality, he was fired up to polish her spotless and garnish her with gold. After weeks of nights with too little sleep, scrubbing her decks free of coal, sewing together sails, and precious jewels stolen from mines as gifts for his loyal vessel, he was on board. With a crew full of dragons both eager and not so eager to ride such a unique boat, he set off with the most valuable treasure of all: Narvadeh. As the famous captain of the magic ship, he is most known for his voice. With a magic tongue of his own, he has the ability to calm the most violent of storms and to soothe the waves that lap at the sides of his ship. Everyone loves the songs he sings, and his crew tends to sing along with him. When someone’s feeling a little blue, whether homesick or just having a bad day, he tries his hardest to make them smile with his crazy ballads. The only one who doesn’t approve of his voice is his own ship, but he’s pretty sure that she’s just playing coy. by NightRising |
