PLEASE NOTE that lore relating to Clan Duro is no longer considered "canon." Clan Duro was wiped out after an all-out war with eldritch deities and the few who survive are cursed in an eternal sleep. A handful prowl outside of the cave where these souls rest, ready and willing to defend them to their last breath.

edit: yeah this isn't canon anymore either, Aygul, Circe, and Chaos are the only surviving members of the clan (as in, they're my coli grinders so they got to stay, whereas everyone else got the YEET)

Patriarch - Hunter - Mentor

Born to a small clan on the edges of the Scarred Wasteland, Aygul was forced out on his own after a shortage of food and an outbreak of disease all but decimated his clan. It was an arduous journey, but it was not long before he became a skilled hunter; cunning and capable, with a stubbornness that certainly helped him to survive. Despite his reputation, he did not find welcome amongst the roving packs of mirrors that crossed the wastes. Something that did not bother him as much as it might have others. Aygul knew the law of the land, and that was only the strong survived.

Instead he focused his efforts on starting his own clan. The first to join him was his mate, Nevivia, whom he found in a situation much like his own. Together they carved a living and made a name for themselves. It wasn't long after this that they began to draw others to their side. Outcasts and rejects were welcomed in, so long as they were willing to put forth their own best efforts. Aygul gladly took in even the most deplorable dragons oozing their way across the wastes.

With such a number by his side, Aygul seeks to grow the clan and push ever forward with one purpose; to bring glory to the Plaguebringer and leave none in their path.

Aygul is a strong and capable leader, willing to do anything to protect his clan. If his strength lies in his confidence, however, then his weakness lies in his stubbornness and temper. While he is wise beyond his years, Aygul has a tendency to snap, and react to situations with his teeth and claws rather than his words. Despite this, his clan is a symbol of hope for many dragons.

He has a particular soft spot for hatchlings, and has taken in a great number of abandoned eggs and hatchlings, all looked after under the watchful eye of Azure. Aygul knows that the future of the clan lies in its offspring, and works hard to make sure that all are strengthened to their fullest potential. There is no room for weaklings here.

Aygul loves hunting and is very skilled at it. Despite being the patriarch of his clan and therefore does not need to hunt, he is always leading his pack on the prowl, eager to go in for the kill. He is surprisingly patient when it comes to teaching the hatchlings in his clan in this skill, and any dragon under his tutelage has the rare opportunity to learn from one of the greatest hunters in the Scarred Wasteland.

Clan Duro, despite its leader being a fierce warrior and capable hunter, has attracted a number of more scientifically minded dragons, led by the spiral Basalt. Aygul supports them in any way he can.
