Word goes one would be wise not to cross the leader of the Starlites, lest they wish to test his patience and with it, their lifeline. Most steer clear of his path either way, as his stern demeanour is not exactly inviting.

While it's true Vincio is not one for small talk, one would be wrong to assume he ever exercises cruelty or abuse. Everything he does is for the sake of his Clan, and keeping everyone in it safe. As he endured countless life-or-death battles to get to where he is, he more than anyone understands how fragile the time of peace is, and how easily everything can turn to dust.

For this reason, he is almost constantly keeping an eye on the happenings in and around the Clan, and hates having his time wasted with petty complaints or pointless boot-licking. He wants to know everything everyone is doing at any time, and rarely tolerates things falling out of place. Many duties he takes on himself, ranging from patrolling the borders to training young dragons. Some think he keeps his Clan on a leash far too short, and few would ever call him a loving leader, though those who know him closely are aware of his affections for the Starlites, however ineffectively he happens to show them.

In contrast to his nickname of "The Cruel Sovereign", Vince only considers himself to be a leader so long as the rest of the Clan permits it, and exercises his authority with the knowledge that if they were to ever rebel and prove someone else was more worthy, he would have no choice but to heed their word, though he likely would challenge the champion to a battle to the death. As the founder of the Starlites, he would refuse to leave the Clan in the hands of anyone unable to take it from him tooth and claw, just as he had won the right to start it all.

When he isn't being a sharp-eyed ruler, it probably means he's spending his few moments of free time with his mate and co-founder of the Starlites, Gaia. The two have a strong bond and though neither is clingy, both treasure the times they manage to get away and be with each other. Vincio respects Gaia more than anyone, and still often finds himself startled by how capable and clever she is. Whenever he is unsure about anything, he always seeks her opinion first, but she often finds a way to relax him from his duties and allow him to feel at peace with everything they have built together, however short these moments last.

vincio's mate and best champion of the clan, gaia isn't always by his side, busy with her own duties and passions, but she is always in his heart.

although he refused to give pinky any special treatment growing up, vince still loves his firstborn son dearly and is quietly proud of how far he has come in his training.

him and tiny have a strange, on-and-off friendship, where sometimes they seem to go for days arguing back and forth, and others where they smile and understand each other with a simple look. vincio considers her a close friend, and that is why their relationship is the way it is.
