These dragons walk the rocky cliffs that line Dragonhome’s tenuous border with the Viridian Labyrinth. On their hides they bear the fruit of windborne seeds and salty sea air, their porous skin a perfect harbor for life. Although Mossrocks are not known to be the fastest Earth dragons, their patience knows no bounds as they try to nurture what little plant growth they find–whether it’s on their skin or in the ground. Of their origin little is known–whether they were once dragons blessed by the Gladekeeper, or part of Earthshaker’s attempt to breathe life back into Dragonhome’s soil. There is some speculation that perhaps they were once lifted from the earth at the root of Flamecaller’s volcanoes, and that explains their porous hides. However they came to be, it is certain that Mossrock dragons are some of the best gardeners and green-thumbs in the flight, and their presence in certain clans’ dens has been known to signal prosperity and plenty in the future.
