he and his sister are the first dragons i bought
A plague dragon who, along with his sister, left the wastelands (possibly after some personal tragedy?) to put his knowledge of various ailments to better use. With a built-up immunity to most common diseases, he often uses magic and his own blood in the process of creating cures.
Grew up in a long line of Plague dragons who, after centuries in the Wasteland, had built up strong immunity to most diseases, so when he left and joined a different, newer Plague clan, he was horrified by the rampant death and disease he found there and promptly decided ‘yeah nope’
Formerly a traveling medic who would go wherever he was needed and heal the sick in return for a place to sleep and whatever small shinies the clan would spare, he and his sister finally ended up (almost accidentally) settling down in Fernwood and built a sort of base of operations. They still spend much of their time traveling around the Nature territory and sometimes further, but Fernwood is home.
Kind, gentle, and soft-spoken, but far from squeamish and sort of desensitized to blood/gore after all the time he spent in plague territory. Carries around medicinal plants and various rare ingredients he's gathered along his travels, a somewhat concerningly large collection of scalpels, and naturally, stickers and candy.
His time in the Scarred Wasteland means nowadays he is willing to eat ANYTHING and the other dragons in the clan are mildly disgusted by what he is willing to put in his mouth
Ostrya is his assistant; she takes care of smaller dragons or lends a helping hand when he needs a smaller and more dextrous pair of hands
Used to be very mistrustful of Atropa and all her confusing potion-making but the two hit it off surprisingly well and are now writing a recipe book together. The clan is terrified by what it might contain because neither is known for having particularly good taste
Excellent in his field but a total idiot when it comes to anything else
Got emotionally attached to a giant beetle
Too busy to have a mate
He pretends he's the one keeping his sister in line but everyone knows who's really in charge
Basically the only way to make him mad is to insult Ostrya or his hat
He's nice and doing his best but kinda bad at picking up social cues
Get this idiot a therapist or like, a really really big heated blanket
