as his name might imply, veil likes to keep himself distant and mysterious. his shop keeps in line with this theme quite nicely; inside his rather large caravan, dozens of masks line the walls. these he makes himself using a wide variety of materials ranging from wood to clay. each mask is unique in size and style, shaped to accommodate a certain breed and decorated in fashions drab and glamorous, realistic and fantastical, plain and outlandish. those who visit his shop often find themselves equal parts fascinated and unnerved by the dozens of faces staring down at them from the walls, lifelike but for the hollow eyes.

veil makes each mask individually, and treats his customers similarly. if you have fated to wander into his shop, then one of the masks was meant for you; or, rather, from the moment he created the mask, you were fated to have it. it is simply a matter of matching you up to your mask, and this is something veil has a knack for. whether you're aware of it or not, the features of your mask say a lot about you; for everyone has a mask they use to hide behind, or a face hidden from themselves.

veil himself is polite and charming, if not infuriatingly obscure. the mask he dons is blank in both features and colors, which does little to reveal any insight into his person. but is that mask a persona used when interacting with others, or the true face of the dragon underneath?
