KEENWHISTLER
Bard

Silver Pocketwatch
Canvas Bandana
Dwarf Unicorn

"Toss me a few coins and I'll play a song or two. Hand me a pouch and we'll perform for a night. Let us stay here a while, and we'll put on a play for your whole clan to see!

Keenwhistler the bard travels the world, bringing song and merriment wherever he finds himself. It doesn't matter who or what you are. If you invite Keenwhistler's troupe into your home, then he will play for you. He plays only because he enjoys doing it, not to make profit. An offer to let him stay in an inn or guest cave for a few days or fix his flute for free will earn as much song, dance, and performance as Keenwhistler can muster. The merry bard prefers to exchange his songs for services, as carrying around a heavy pouch of coin only invites bad luck...

"Don't let that black cat anywhere near me! Do you want me to break my leg on my next performance?"

"Watch out! Don't- NO--- Oh no, you dumped the salt everywhere. That's real bad luck. Best you flap your wings a few times and spit. No, of course I'm not joking. That's like...10 years of bad luck!"

Keenwhistler is a highly superstitious dragon. The fastest way to get on his bad side is to bring any bad luck his troupe's way. He doesn't cross the paths of anything remotely black and fuzzy. He absolutely refuses to step on cracks in cave floors or buildings. And he won't go anywhere near open bodies of water on a full moon. Keenwhistler takes his unicorn friend with him everywhere he goes. Why? Because nothing is luckier than a white unicorn, that's why. They say that feeding a white unicorn four-leaf clovers can undo any curse. Wait, who ever came up with that? Well...Keenwhistler did. Although Keenwhistler is an all-around friendly guy, his troupe members can get a little..peeved...by his dogged determination to avoid bad luck.

Keenwhistler's troupe includes a wintermane minstrel and his mate Melody.
