Biography

Ravenwing, the Afflicted
The de-facto leader of the clan. Ravenwing suffers from a strange affliction. Of unknown origin, the disease is referred to as the Sickness of the Stars within the tunnels of the den. The peculiar illness, which possesses no known cure so far, causes Ravenwing's scales and feathers to decay and fall when exposed to sunlight, only for the flesh beneath to be then mended into a silvery, crystalline substance under the moonlight. As such, she is unable to walk beneath the sun. She drapes herself in night sky-coloured silks, their soft glittering fabric gently resting on the calcified part of her hide in a soothing caress. She is gentle and soft-spoken, and does not hold any resentment towards her unique predicament.

Mutation: None. Affected by a strange, non-contagious disease; possibly her body rejecting a mutation of sort.

ravenwing's lore was such an interesting read, especially the part about her uncurable illness and how she is unable to walk under the sun. i think that's a pretty neat idea and i can't wait to see what else you may do with that idea. she's gorgeous and her outfit and accent go wonderfully together; making a striking starry derg. the female skydancer pose suits her good!

First up: Ravenwing! What a unique way to incorporate her tert into her lore - this is the first time I've seen Opal be a mere side effect, as opposed to the end result of some sort of malady or curse! The Nightfall Starsilks go incredibly well with her colors, and her skincent blends right in, to the point where I thought the silver bits were some sort of hitherto-undiscovered apparel! A very pretty, elegant lady indeed.
