As a young hatchling, Starlight would run around the clan's territories exploring and getting in trouble like any hatchling would. Funny enough nothing can get past the adults, especially since there are ghosts that are always around to catch the little troublemaker. They all love young Starlight and he loved learning with his aunts; Celine and Pippin as well as his grandparents; the Leaders of the clan. Though when they tried to teach him how to become the next leader, he was not interested. He had more interest in being a part of the royal guard. He would sneak off to the training grounds and bother Sulfur and Sirius until they agreed to train him.

Starlight's family wasn't too thrilled at first, but as he grew up into a well mannered and disciplined male, they didn't want to get in the way of his happiness. Plus the clan has another amazing guard to protect them.

As an adult, Starlight had rose through the ranks and now is a Captain of his own squad, just below Sulfur and Sirius. The biggest obstacle that he had to learn was all of the various supernatural entities to know how to interact as well as how to handle situations involving them. Over the months, more and more entities have sought refuge within the clan which also meant keeping the peace between them all. Especially when the introductions of the first Beasts within the clan that caused the Coven - mainly Witchbornes, to uproar and demand exiles. Starlight was the first to demand order and took control of the situation and was able to diffuse the situation. By gathering the Heads of each order; Lorien of the Witchbornes and Oolong and Kyrkogrim who are in charge of the Sun and Moon Packs; together they worked day and night to create a plan and agreement to help keep order. It was thanks to Starlight, that the peace was restored.

Now, Starlight is given his own branch within the Royal Guard called the royal division. This division are descendants of the leaders who chose to be a part of the Royal Guard. Not only does this keep the family together and help them bond; but they are also to be seen as equal and to keep jealousy away from the family.
