Phoenix

Phoenix is a part of the Autumn Clan and serves the flight in the fighting faction along with his brother, Dayblaze. He is one of the representatives of early fall--and his specialty is fire, the early fire of a dawn sunrise, to be exact. His brother is very hard on him, as his rank, determined by his magical abilities, is "special." Then again, so is everyone else in the flight, each in their own way. Phoenix takes the view that since every dragon in the flight has a unique ability, everyone is special, but his brother's strong, incredibly stubborn sense of duty causes him to view Phoenix as a leader of the warriors who must work extremely hard to fulfill his role and use his magic for the greater good. Phoenix, ignorant of his brother's demands, just wishes to fly free.

Perhaps DayBlaze is following his strong beliefs in self-fulfillment, or perhaps he is jealous of his brother's chosen calling--as fire is an extremely useful element in combat, Autumn is one of the most respected clans of the flight, and many of the dragons do not have a side power in the time of day like Phoenix does with dawn. But whatever the case, as Phoenix's magic grows stronger, so does DayBlaze's insistent demands that he work harder and control the fighting faction diligently. Phoenix's will to work and his patience with his brother are the only things waning in their relationship.
