Trench was once a dockworker/fisher, but her charge fell into the water and got swept away, so she put the life of a humble shoredragon on hold to trek across the bottom of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, searching for her charge in the Tidelord's domain.

The water is weighing heavy on my spine, and my lantern is dimming. With it dims my hope of finding Aster in the same state I carelessly left him, taking my eyes off of him for a moment too long. The sea had called to him with its siren song, beckoning him into the unfathomable depths. Is it time that I accept that he's gone too far? Ran into trouble he couldn't escape?
