No one’s quite sure what to do with Drustvar. With his mix of healthy browns and dull greys, the coatl clan he was born into regarded him as hovering on the edge of ill fortune, and as soon as he was old enough to stand a chance at surviving on his own, he was exiled. He disappeared into the woods after that, finding a place within the forest, learning to weave the wood according to his will. Strange magics came easily to him. He whispered to the trees, and built companions out of felled branches and rotting bark. |

It’s a fifty-fifty chance whether Drustvar can be found in Serenity on any given day. Most of his time is still spent in the woods, though his overnight stays in the village have become slightly more frequent. |

Ulfar is Drustvar's familiar, an uncanny mass of tangled roots and dead leaves held together by remarkable magic. Silent and almost eerie in his presence, Ulfar is an excellent companion for the wood witch. |

Hazel is Drustvar's oldest friend, besides his animated companions. They've crossed paths many times in her explorations of the forest, Drustvar always fascinated by this glimpse of the world outside the woods, and after he worked up the nerve to approach her they struck up an easy friendship. |

Clara is perhaps the first dragon Drustvar has met whom he truly understands. Their upbringing in the forests wasn't dissimilar, and they bonded over their shared understanding of the intricate magics that exist in the woods. |
