Elektra experiments with cybernetic enhancements, and she has earned the trust of her clan by fashioning excellent gear for some of her clanmates. She deals in everything from bionic eyes to plasma-bladed claws, and is ecstatic about making technological upgrades to living creatures.

She claims that her creations are quite difficult and costly for her to make, and since she is quite skilled at her craft, the clan readily gives her funding. In reality, however, she is able to create them quite a bit cheaper than she lets on, and she uses the extra money to fund her own secret projects. In her personal lab she hardly has to stow away her research, as her rather eccentric behavior generally wards off wary dragons. As a result, her work often goes unchecked, leading her to become more daring in her pursuits, if not somewhat careless about hiding them. After all, even as she plays innocent and sweetly gifts her clanmates new bits of tech, there is no denying that she (quite literally) has the energy of a mad scientist. Perhaps it's the half-suppressed cackles of delight when one of her enhancements performs perfectly, the long dark scars likely gained from accidental plasma knife encounters, or the way she silently studies everyone as if she were sizing them up - or perhaps, measuring them. No doubt she is a brilliant scientist, but such enthusiasm for the more questionable aspects of her field is rather intimidating.

Under the guise of testing her dragon-approved enhancements, Elektra constantly runs new experiments on various animals. (At least, animals are what her limits appear to be.) These projects are known by none but Neuro, whom she has recruited to supply familiars and help with the implementation of neuroprosthetics and brain-computer interfaces. She has sparked the curiosity the chemist always had inside of him, and has finally given him a chance to satisfy it. He is a surgeon-scientist now, specializing in experimental brain surgery, and Elektra's modifications fascinate him. There are hardly any probing questions between the two - after all, they are both mad scientists, excited to just share discoveries and compare notes as they reach towards a common goal.

Eventually, she plans on creating a force of various cyborgs to fight in the Stormcatcher's army. Powered flight, lasers that deliver electrical discharge, telepathic communication via brain implants, defensive magic stored in plated armor that can swap elements instantaneously - these are just some of the visions she has for her flight. She feels her questionable methods will pay off in the long run, but even if they don't, she can't help but have a bit of fun.
