Creatlach has been involved in a rough life from when he was young - Joining a gang at the age of 14, Creatlach learnt how to fend for himself from since he was small. It wasn't long until he raised the ranks, until one day, he found himself at the head of the Lynch gang - At the age of 20, he had learnt how to keep a whole mess of outlaws alive.

His gang and him raided a village one day. It resulted in a lot of carnage, deaths, and screaming voices that he still hears in the middle of the night from time to time. It wasn't until years later that he truly felt the consequences of his actions - A caravan at the side of the road, filled with weary people, who told him that it had been years since their village was raided and displaced, and they still had not found a suitable place. They hadn't found a single place that they didn't get hunted out of, chased away, or the surroundings were too hostile to settle. And Creatlach only looked at his gang members before taking over the reigns of the first caravan, leading them to a little, hidden place that they would come to call Deadwood.

The feeling of remorse and guilt still has not left his bones, and it hangs around him like a thick fog. Deadwood now ran perfectly fine - Even after turning down the title of mayor, one that went to his surrogate son instead - But he still couldn't shake the ice that had formed around the memories, even if the villagers have forgiven him a long time ago now. He still hears the screams when he looks at them.

His guilt and remorse have transformed into an odd sense of morals and shreds of mercy, to the point of saving a petty pickpocket off of the gallows. Even if no one agreed with his choice, the man is now a forced part of Deadwood, and he refuses to let him leave without him.

And as for his son? He still leaves out a plate every day. It's only on bad days where it goes untouched.
