BLEAKFALLS CLAN MATRIARCH

I was frightened by the never ending Night,
So I prayed to the distant stars.
In endlessly repeating time,
We were searching for love,
Because we wanted to become stronger.
We look up to the faraway sky.

My troubles are all over, and I am at home.

I have come from the first generations of Dragons to the Realm. As soon as I came of age, I was paired with a male to produce a clutch of hatchlings. They were born shortly after I laid them, and before I could name them I was already bartered off to a Clan within the Shifting Expanse where I was put to work in the Lightning Farm until I was able to produce offspring again. I hated my life under the Stormcatcher. My hands were numb from the constant thrum of energy that raced through the cables I laid.

A couple of weeks before I was ready to breed again... I was sold to another Clan. Due to my 'poor workmanship' the leader of the Lightning Flight Clan was happy to be rid of me. It was agreed upon that I would be taken to my new Clan's Lair until I was ready to breed. I would return to the Clan in the Shifting Expanse only to breed and immediately return to the home of the Bleakfalls Clan.

When I arrived at my new home, I had found the reason the Clan sought to bring me into their ranks. They had been sold my firstborn son who they've named Rayden. He had worked his way up the ranks here quickly and had always wondered what had become of me. With much research he discovered my fate and pleaded to the other Leaders to try to bring me into their Clan.

My breeding obligation was filled swiftly. On the long flight to the Stormcatcher's domain I did find myself fighting the thought that I would be left there, or that my former Clan would find an excuse to retain me. I am glad that Ariana and Rayden were there to ensure I would return to the Bleakfalls Temple with them.



I am home and I am well. I am happy in this place. I have developed a knack for bead work and adore making necklaces, mane ties, and horn adornments out of just about anything I can get my hands on!
