B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme:Hungover in the City of Dust (Autoheart)

______ Some suspect that Ranu is as old as Sornieth itself; But it is certain that she is not your normal dragon. When asked where she is from, she says "Far away". When asked her age, she simply says "Old". A woman of few words, Ranu has been in the clan since Izroul and Damus found the willow tree after the Great Collapse. With their time to find the Four growing dire, they stayed in the cave under the willow as their clan grew; Ranu watched them for the longest time, her many white eyes always seeing what they did and how they took care of her tree. She loved this tree, this place, and promised long ago she'd defend it to her last breath; But when she saw how kindly the drakes of this new clan treated it's branches, she decided finally to reveal herself to them.

______ Despite the original wariness most of the clan had of Ranu, soon she was accepted as one of their own. Even though she was offered a room inside, safe from the elements and the cold of the Starwood at night, she refuses, instead sleeping in the crown of the great willow like a faithful companion. Her many eyes are always watchful, always looking out for her tree; Like a Guardian to it's charge, her life seems to revolve around it's well-being... For what would happen if the tree ever withered...?
