Biography
Though Core normally looks rather unamused, he has an insatiable wanderlust and fiery temper that ignites at a moment's notice.
As a mage thirsty for knowledge and bold in his experiments born in the Windswept Plateau, Core had a difficult time. While talented, his experiments were often explosive and tended to set fire to things.
Eventually, he had enough of being constantly scolded for almost setting the lair on fire for Windsinger-knows-how-many-times, and along with his desire to travel, Core left his family. While traveling the world, he inadvertently bought a magical item from Kismet. Overjoyed that the bangles let him summon fire, albeit but a tiny flame, he began to become proficient at combining the two types of magic. However, he ran into trouble in the Viridian Labyrinth. An altercation between another traveler, an earth mage, and Core resulted in him raising a firestorm and burning a large amount of the nearby woodlands.
The only reason he wasn't attacked by most of the inhabitants was Cel. She managed to regrow the greenery before Core was caught.
From then on, Cel tagged along with Core, doing damage control. If you ever see a firestorm with dashes of Windsinger green, the color of Core's magic, it's probably him - and he's probably mad.
