Origins - Created as an automatic bug-fixer for Project to send directly into their systems and keep it glitch-free. However, his programming soon became outdated and his efficiency as a result, prompting the scientists to create CIPHER.exe to replace him. However, Error had managed to snag a snapshot of the trash folder in Project's files, revealing to CIPHER her eventual fate should she stay with Project. CIPHER chose to disobey orders and update his programming on the spot to save him, and the two fled into a portal machine being developed by Project at the time, which later spat them out into a randomized location on Sornieth.


Personality - A capable, task-driven individual who unfortunately lacks the social capacity his partner has, due to his original AI programming being outdated and being further corrupted after escaping Project’s lab via the portal to Sornieth. He has a tendency to over-explain the simplest of things because he fears not being understood by others, which sometimes leads to outright rambling should he grow nervous or panic. In such cases, Error has taken to emitting low pulses of electromagnetic energy to calm himself, though this has the unwanted effect of unsettling those around him, since they can pick up on the interference registering on their systems. Smaller electronics have been known to go haywire should his stress levels rise too high. Proceed with caution.
After having nearly been wiped out completely by Project, Error has developed a deep fear of being abandoned, and though he’s skilled at his work, he feels the only reason FL/GHT keeps him around is because he’s useful in a practical sense - a mentality that’s stuck with him since his days in Project’s lab. To prevent himself from ‘outliving his usefulness’, Error is always on top of things and making sure his work is done well - it’s one way of keeping himself too occupied to panic, as well as boosting his self-confidence. Functions best when working alone, or at most with Cipher, as anyone else being around generally requires social interaction which makes him a little nervous at times. When in his element, however, he prefers to stay until the task has been seen through to the very end, and can be called a bit of a perfectionist - nothing is ever complete until Error says so, is the common adage passed down within the ranks. He does take pride in what he does for the Intelligence faction, though, and nothing makes his day more than being praised by fellow FL/GHT members.


Clan Role - Usually works alongside Cipher with infiltrating Project labs, since they share the same ability of entering just about any machine with a working electronic system. Has a photographic memory that enables him to take 'snapshots' of certain scenes and places of note for later reference, and usually is the one responsible for capturing footage and assembling makeshift maps of Project labs from photographic evidence alone, to be used in future missions.
