Pegasus is one to go where no dragon has gone before.
He's a cheerful dragon, albeit quiet and with a distant look in his emerald green eyes. Some might say he has his head in the clouds and you'd be right, quite literally.
For Pegasus holds a secret that only he can ever know.
He knows that when you fly higher than even Heavensward, to clouds never touched before by the wing of a dragon, that the light seems to cascade around you as waterfalls of gold, the clouds sweeping beneath them like cream and gold coloured rivers; that time seems to slow to just a single moment and in that strange unnatural moment you are completely and utterly alone in the whole universe.. and that's when you can hear them.
The voices, the beautiful singing voices accompanied by strange instruments. A chorus singing a single beautiful song that encapsulates an eternity of beauty and light and hope.
Pegasus is not a selfish or unkind dragon, he would share this wonder with all if he could. But the minute he returns from this strange plane of heaven, he forgets that it exists. All that remains is a distant look in his eye and a strange melody in his head, one that he follows up and up and up, to be heard again and again, for eternity.
