Z'ev is old. Older than he lets on, even. The so often disgruntled ridgeback seems decent enough, but the tattered holes and scarred runes marring his hide speak to endless years. In reality the old plague dragon is more than ready to let go, but is kept standing by magics from before his time. One of his ancestors made a promise, you see, and they passed without fulfilling it- now the burden has fallen to one who had no idea of its existence.
