Role: Sentinel Pronouns: she/her Background: Thymara considered herself a dedicated Sentinel. She had to repay Icewarden some how. She wasn't always a Gaoler. It was for this reason she was quite early today, and why she was so unwavering in her duties. Some travelers had committed an infraction some time ago and breached the tunnels. It seems there was more to Sornieth than she had thought. If she was lucky, she would be assigned to travel across Sornieth. She was not tired of her duty in the Fortress of Ends, but instead was curious on extending her responsibilities. It had taken some time for the Gaolers to settle into the chamber. She had listened eagerly as her friends and colleagues had paired up. And for her turn..."Thymara and Lucidus, to Plague!" She didn't have to turn to look. She knew exactly who she was paired with, and put simply? Ugh. Lucidus' vivid green made him stand out against the crowd. She approached him with reluctance. "Lucidus." "Thymara! I haven't seen you in ages." He said cheerily. "I had hoped to keep it that way. But I suppose we're off to Plague now." "Aw, don't be so upset. This will be fun! We'll find out how far the Shade has spread." "You were always so obnoxious as a hatchling. I'm surprised you made it this far as an Overseer." "Well I'll be overseeing us seeking though. When do you want to depart?" Thymara couldn't help but give a slight smile. She shrugged it off and said," Tomorrow morning. There's no better time than to start the day off on the right paw." "Sounds like a plan!" --- The two couldn't help but bicker and banter the whole way to Plague. They took a boat across and landed on the coast of Plague. Thymara reluctantly climbed the cliff walls, while Lucidus was more than eager to make his way. The two travelled through the Contagion and ultimately ended up in a clearing. A giant airship sat atop a canyon. "I don't like the energies of that place." Lucidus remarked. "That makes two of us." When they arrived in the airship, they were greeted by an ominous, but well-dressed Skydancer. "I am Prince Equinox. What brings you both by here?" "Your airship is contaminated by the Shade. We're sent here to contain it." She declared. "That would be hardly necessary. I have the ship under my complete control." "We cannot allow the Shade to spread, and thus cannot allow you to persist." "Hm, perhaps we could work out a deal. I have some, unruly, inhabitants, that I would like to see contained. If you contain them, I shall permit you to contain those you see fit." "That seems rather fair to me." Lucidus said. "I suppose. It's inconsequential to me. I will send word establishing this as a Gaoler prison. If more Gaolers arrive, they will be under my command." "That is reasonable enough." --- Thymara was a bit of a stickler compared to some of the others. She stood firm that all Shadow dragons, Banescales, Nocturnes, and Veilspun should be in containment. Leu was her biggest critic, although the two stayed respectful. She supposed in the past, Gaolers had spread across Sornieth before, and she was now just discovering them. They each came with their own unique rules. Despite their differences, she befriended Rustedlight, a Shadow Gaoler. Rustedlight had seen many moons, so she was fun to talk to. Thymara ended up falling in love with Lucidus, as much as she hates to admit it. Thymara spends a lot of her day guarding the court. When she's not, she enjoys staying active and familiarizing herself with her surroundings. She takes her duties seriously, but sometimes has a playful side. |
