Because of Harpaes' appearance everyone always expected him to be a cruel, violent dragon and so he was avoided like the plague itsself even while he was still a fairly young dragon and could barely understand the fear they showed towards him.
Harpae learned to live with the fear he instilled in others and chose not to get to close to avoid unnecessary conflict, but whenever he could Harpae would help any dragon he'd jump at the opportunity.
In truth, he'd never been an angry or dangerous dragon, Harpae had always been a calm, and gentle individual though nobody would listen to let him explain and so he had always lived as a monster in others eyes, when he would've loved to live in a clan and show them just how heavily they were musjudging him.
