Notes:
  • Egg found in the Coli by Fenris, Vigdis and Sindri at the start of the 2018 NotN season.
  • Dagni = Dawn, a new day.
  • The Clan suspects that Fenris swiftly hypnotised her into forgetting him, seeing as she has thoroughly imprinted on Sindri and Vigdis (her shifting eyes settling on brown after locking eyes with the dragoness and the strutting gait copied from Sindri are clear signs of this), but doesn't seem to see Fenris as more than another Clan member, despite hatching literally in his arms after her egg was stumbled upon and uncovered from the muck of the Mire.
  • He hasn't - in fact, he was the one to name her. Dagni just respects his need for privacy and keeps him as her "weird secret uncle".
  • Dagni has become one of the points Vigdis lists as proof for Fenris being a magnet for cute things. No-one believes her, no matter how adorable Dagni is... but that might be due to Fenris' vehement denial of the phenomena, which tends to wipe all memories of Vigdis' teasing from their minds.
  • Sindri is of the firm opinion that she is his little sister, not his child, thank you very much. Sigvarra agrees, because otherwise she'd be one of Dagni's mothers due to her mateship with Sindri. And she and Sindri have agreed to no more children. They like watching over the Clan's hatchlings in general and occupying them during the day, they do not want to be responsible for them. Or be their main role models. No thank you.
  • Vigdis sat down to have a serious talk with Dagni as soon as the hatchling could be expected to listen seriously and remember and told the young nocturne that she was not mother material due to {list of reasons}, but that she would be happy to continue to act as a guardian and mentor, should Dagni not object now that she knew Vigdis' limitations.
  • Dagni accepted, of course, but still secretly thinks of Vigdis as her mother. She just doesn't say it out loud (yet), because she can sense that Vigdis has been hurt by motherhood before. One day, though... one day, she'll have helped her mother figure enough, loved her enough and been loved enough in turn, that the Wildclaw will be able to call her daughter without any bad feelings. Dagni will make sure of it.
