Vertical1.png Esteemed alchemist Fitzgerald Trismattus has lost his mind. For what other reason would a prolific and talented alchemist, known for his work in metallurgy and the development of a popular conductive agent used in construction all across the Shifting Expanse, throw it all the way in pursuit of creating the perfect drink?

All agree it was the chemical accident that did it, the one that destroyed his life's work. "Such a shame," The other scientists said, shaking their heads. "Never recovered from the pain of his life utterly wasted, so he shifted gears entirely. It's no wonder he hasn't been able to find reputable employment since."

He doesn't believe that, though. Not everything in that accident was lost, only the efforts of his previous projects. The resulting mixture had tasted bubbly sweet, nothing like anything he had ever had before. He scooped up as much as he could, before the fumes could addle his brains any further, and vowed to only consider himself finished when he achieved alchemical perfection.

Fitzgerald, or 'Fizzy' as others have taken to calling him, now keeps the mixture on him at all times. In the bottle of his belly the smooth umber liquid constantly bubbles and froths.

At the one place remaining who would allow him to continue his studies, an institute with a reputation even worse than his own, he attempts his single-minded goal of creating a recipe without fault.

Cherry Cola would be a hit, he just knew it.
