Few things slide out from the Tangled Wood and never return, and among them are Resiblut, Koswikergh, and as their newest addition, Kerensa, the first-hatched of one of the clutches from Humboldt and Konstanze, entrusted to the Valkyrie.

Skolyoth immediately took to the new child and sought to train her as a protege, something her first protege found herself jealous of. Kerensa passed every physical test and combat exercise with flying colors, no matter how impossible Resiblut set her standards at, using her mother's strength and her father's ease with magic.

Resiblut's jealousy only soared, and two months into Kerensa's initiation, challenged her warsister with combat. Resiblut won the first match, Kerensa the second, Resiblut the third...the two duked it out time after time, only to find catharsis in their fights. Since this anomalous new discovery, the two have grown closer, and work closer, much to the Tundra Warlord's delight.

Kerensa herself is physically competent, slamming herself through bricks with ease and few scratches, despite her size. Along with this is her father's wit, and an equal ease with shadow magic, which she binds with trickery and deception against her opponents, not above encasing them in a vat of shadows or leaving them in a looping illusion of their worst fears.

The Fae herself, however, is not heartless, and is generally laidback, enjoying bloodbaths but never instigating them herself. She enjoys combat and sparring, even if she does not revere it on the same holy way the rest of the Valkyrie's warriors seem to, preferring to help Koswikergh tend to the bestiary or garden.
