A Bittersweet Witch
Sour Apple is obviously not my given name, but it fits my current demeanor rather well. I was born in Ice during the high age of Dragons and came to this clan after my parents sold me. No hard feelings about that, it's just how things are done. My first mate captivated me. I understand now that why his actions got him banished from the clan, but i was young at the time and inexperienced. His aloofness was intoxicating. The casualness with which he held himself was inspiring. I, on the other hand, was attention seeking and eager to please. He kept me a secret, but he could not hide them. When he want to be sentence by the Boss, they were his wardens. Cap was there when he left. He taught me all there is to know about poison and how to lance them out of body and mind. His previous mate was not unlike mine in their toxicity. Though hers was more active in nature. And he didn't keep me a secret. After the time lapse, I am less needed in the art of poison, and more need in healing. I will do whatever it is necessary to survive in this new word, even if it goes against my nature. Though, those who need my services, best pay quickly. Debts are collected in blood. |
