The cold wind was blowing harshly at the Fortress of Ends. A lone dragon was standing over a cliff despite the harsh weather. The dragon looked over to the sea and into the northeast where the Ashfall Waste is. Sigfrid stared at the family crest in her talons. She wasn't sure if she'd continue her journey in search of a new clan to settle in or not. After days of scavenging and living on her own, she finally had the time to think about what her mother said to her. "Go and follow where the waves carry you, my dearest daughter." Follow the waves. That seemed easy enough to follow but in truth, it was actually hard when you're about to do it. Sigfrid knew she felt it a moment ago, a strange pull that's coming from the northeast. A strong wave crashed against the icy cliff and Sigfrid felt the pull, now stronger which made her heart beat faster. Then she resolved her gaze and took flight towards the region of fire and smoke. |
