All the wonders you seek are within yourself.
- Thomas Browne |
Ice contains no future, just the past, sealed away. As if they're alive, everything in the world is sealed up inside, clear and distinct. Ice can preserve all kinds of things that way- cleanly, clearly. That's the essence of ice, the role it plays.
- Haruki Murakami |

S T O R Y
She had hoped to be saved. The disease was coursing through her veins, cutting her time on Sornieth short. All she wanted was to be saved. They told her they could save her. They told her that there was a procedure in which they would freeze her body, make her blood and bones turn to ice, stop the disease in its tracks. They told her that it would somehow reverse the disease, that it would stop the illness in its tracks and make her better again. Make it so that she could live her life free once more. Had she known what was in store for her, she would never have gone through with the procedure. Something went wrong. The ice magic they used was too powerful; shards of ice tore through her body, ripping her veins to shreds. They couldn't stop it, it was too powerful. All they could do was watch and wait. They fused her flesh with machinery to protect her from the freezing cold, the same cold which preserved and sustained her. Wires tore through her flesh, keeping the parts held tightly to her body. She was completely covered from it. Waves of cold emanated from her very being; icicles hung off her in sheaths. Fire would kill her faster than anything. Thus she was released, no memories of her time before. Before the procedure, before her death and subsequent rebirth. Ice hung from her wings, draping her in a sheet of cold. For a long, long time she wandered the world, covering herself in anything she could get her hands on that provided any sort of chill. Metals, cool to the touch, hung off like icicles. And so she wandered, far longer than any living thing had the right to, trying to find her place in the world. And so she will wander until the machines keeping her alive fail, or else she melts into the water she once lived in. |

She wandered across Sornieth for a long time, looking for her place in the world, before she heard of a group that rescues other dragons like herself. She found my clan first, then was convinced by her clan members to join FL\GHT. Since she is fragile, she can't take on any actual missions; however, she has lived long enough that she is very good at gathering information, so she would be perfect for Intelligence.
