Blessed by the Twilight

With her age Tindómië has grown distant and cold as the stars from which she draws her name. A powerful sorceress, she has devoted her later years to recording her studies; her goal to channel the icy power of the furthest and fiercest stars. The cold fire she wields is both deadly and captivating, a secret sorcery she guards carefully.

In her youth she was brilliant and beautiful, but with the passing centuries this brilliance has tempered to a frozen intensity. In her lifetime she has had many lovers and mothered many children, most of whom she has lost track of through time and distance. Now she can remember only her mate Hendunaron with any clarity, the most solemn of her partners who was long ago called to service by the Icewarden. Often she thought of seeking him, but these notions were always pushed away, secondary to her research.

Many years ago she came to the Starfall Isles, where she found a quiet and twilit lair in which to continue her studies in peace. Though she has aged with grace and dignity, her eyesight is not what it once was, and her ancient fingers sometimes ache in the colder nights. She is not a nurturing soul by nature, preferring her notes and the quiet calm to the energetic romping of hatchlings and adolescents, but she has begun to entertain the notion of taking on an apprentice - someone to pass on the centuries of knowledge she has acquired over the years. Of course, not just any young mage will do; this haughty Sorceress has devised a series of tests only the quickest of mind and resolute of heart could possibly overcome.
