Sarc (Sarcosuchus)
Territory Guard
(Second line of defense against tresspassers)

"How could there be
A sharper set of knives?
A new way to see
Yeah, to open up these eyes."
-"Sharper Knives", by LORN

_____Sarcosuchus is, by nature, an ambush predator. They’re known for attacking first and not bothering asking questions later - this attitude makes them an ideal inner territory guard, as there’s almost no innocent outside dragons still walking freely in that range. Despite this seemingly aggressive behavior, Sarcosuchus is well-loved by their clanmates - most of whom call them by a shortened version of their name (Sarc). Most notably, Hyacintho has a massive amount of respect for them, going out of his way to simply quietly exist in their company - an activity which Sarcosuchus thoroughly enjoys.

_____Sarcosuchus's guard "station" is in a bog, well within the middle ring of Flickering Shadows territory. Her murky coloration allows her to blend in well with the similarly murky water and mud. She often goes so far as to submerge herself before slowly rising to the surface, allowing the peat to collect over her back, wings, and neck, only peeking over the water with her eyes and snout, almost perfectly camouflaged. Another aspect of her usual hiding techniques includes encouraging frogs or toads to sit on any non-submerged part of her body, effectively becoming one with the environment. These methods have allowed her to thwart many would-be attackers. She enjoys her job.
