B I O G R A P H Y

Didymium is a being of both mortal dragons and the strange Alchemist's Tools. His Alchemic blood is particularly strong, and he tends to be cool and calculating. The required knowledge for specific alchemy reactions and reductions often come to him without effort, pieces of puzzles slide into place without prompting, and he shares his knowledge willingly.

He is considered a boon to the Amethyst Spire, Zephonyx and Kelltagonan are both keen to work with him and have him assist their particular studies. As a fellow construct, Quillian welcomed him to her clan with open arms. Didymium has a hard time interacting with his fellow dragons, likely due to his heritage, while he does not mean any harm, he often lacks a certain amount of tact and care when speaking. He will say what is most logical, not the most kind, and this often puts him at odds with the more sensitive members of the clan.

He had worked so hard for this day, a day that would prove he was a true Alchemist, or show he was not so great as he had imagined. Carefully constructed runes and patterns surrounded a set of items, ingredients for the new life to come forth from his own magic.

Tofani, his assistant, stood nearby. They had both taken caution against the sheer amount of energy that was going to be released, the ritual was set far from the rest of the researchers and only the highest quality of ingredients had been gathered. Specially selected shed scales from dragons all over Sornieth, a vials of potent blood donated by the strongest coliseum champions, various minerals mined from the most magical areas of the Isles, Dragon Home, and the Ashfall Waste. Everything required to create a new life, except for one final thing.

He slithered up to the edge of the alchemic circle and gingerly placed his claws on the lines. The symbols were ready and willing, Light magic flared up and beams of light shot forth from Didymium's eyes. The entire circle seemed to come to life, the lines began to spin gently and the ingredients were pulled to the center. Beams of light continued to pour from both the Alchemist Tool and the circle he had calculated and drawn. The process seemed to last ages, or perhaps it had been only minutes, time is so relative to a construct. When the light faded Tofani hurried up to her mate's side, he lay a bit limp, but the alchemy circle was unscathed and the new creature inside contained.

In the center lay a large guardian that shimmered with metal hues. She lifted her head at the same time as Didymium and looked about, a bit dazed and confused. The Alchemist's Tool was quick to lift a claw and reassure her.

"Please, do not be alarmed. I have brought you into existence as a construct of the Amethyst Spire. Tell me, can you speak? Do you understand me?"

"I ... understand you ... I am ... alive? You? made me?" She flexed a claw and looked about at the plateau of rock she had been born upon, "You...you are Didymium, and you, Tofani. I seem to know you. I am ... Mus...Muscii. Please, call me Muscii."

Didymium smiled, a rare sight for the usually stoic construct. "Welcome home, Muscii. I look forward to working with you."

Gelatinium the Sentient Alloy

• Gelatinium was created by Kelltagonan back when the Amethyst Spire first formed, but immediately bonded with Didymium once he joined the group

• Zephonyx was able to develop the Mana Capsule Mutation thanks to studying the workings of this dragon-like construct
