Michaelis the Blackwalker

A foolish Imperial named Firescale made a bargain with demon and in an attempt to get out of the deal, ended up tricked and possessed by that Demon instead, granting that demon shape and the ability to travel Sorneith with ease. Occultists and Binders in the clan of Singing Blood enticed the demon to join the clan. He has taken up the Undertaker's profession, at least officially. Those who take care and listen closely can uncover rumors and suggestions of other, stranger and more dangerous services offered by the dark funeral director.
His role as Undertaker has him more often interacting with those dragons periphery to the clan, who live in the clan's territory, outposts, or under the Bonestrewn Crest, but are not incorporated members. He works closely with Insolemni to see to the needs of the masses and will tend to both Dragons and Beast alike, though the beast clan prefer to handle their own dead.

His familiar usually takes the shape of an Ignited Imp; however, Doncieux is a shapeshifter and occasionally assumes other frightful and demonic forms, out of need or just by whim alone.

Michaelis's machinations are ever subtle and well beyond the capacity for most to follow. He has been involved in a dozen little incidents that have shaped the clan and its member, some are known, others are not. After switching vessels from Firescale to Erudi's mate, fewer still realize who he is, or how long he has been with the clan (and all memory of who the Coatl used to be has slipped from memory).
