She smiled at him and Cachun felt his heart in his mouth. Her blue eyes sparkled brightly, like the ocean on a sunny day. “You can come with me”, she said, her voice filled with enthusiasm. “You can stay with us!” Cachun only managed to nod. Was this destiny?
Personality

Cachun is a calm dragon, though he enjoys company a lot. He is a virtuoso with his lute and his voice, creating marvelous melodies and songs. Often, he will play in the evenings and other dragons of the Rose Spar will gather to listen. He is hopelessly romantic and dreams of love, marriage, and happily ever after. He adores serenades and ballads and can tell love stories for hours. At the same time, however, he is shy about showing his feelings. He doesn’t dare to upset anybody and instead tries to show how he feels instead of speaking his mind. Dogs mean everything to him. It is almost impossible to find him without his fluffy friends, playing, cuddling, or taking long naps in the sun. |

Cachun was born in a small Coatl lair at the edge of the shifting expanse. His childhood and youth were rather uneventful. He was a calm child, caused little trouble, and the only remarkable thing about him was his endless love for puppies. However, one day in autumn, something happened that changed his entire life: Cachun fell in love. It was already close to dusk when a trio of strangers arrived at Cachun’s clan. It was a troupe of showmen, a Skydancer and two Spiral siblings. Immediately Elva, the Spiral female, caught his eye. She was beautiful, her laughter was bright and clear, and her eyes had the color of the night sky. Cachun could not take his eyes of her. He tried to convince the showmen to take him with them, but they declined. Only if he’d manage to impress them, he’d be allowed to join. However, time was limited. They only stayed the night and would return two months later before continuing their way north and not coming back. Cachun started preparing for their return straight away. He had a nice voice and a sense for melodies, so he quickly decided to become a musician. For two months, he was unapproachable to anyone, even close friends and family. Every second of the day he practiced the lute and learned new songs. When the showmen returned, he was ready. They listened to him in awe and agreed to make him part of their group. Together, they traveled Sornieth. Cachun gained many admirers, but his heart belonged to Elva only. After half a year of travel, Elva turned towards him. At first, Cachun was delighted. But Elva’s request broke his heart. She had fallen in love with the young Skydancer of the troupe and turned to Cachun for help. While his heart was bleeding, he did not turn her down. However, he left the group soon after. On his own, he continued his way until he arrived at the Crystalspine Reaches. Not too far from Focal Point, he encountered Claudius. Cachun was happy to meet another Coatl, but his joy quickly turned into horror when Claudius attacked him for his monochrome colors. Cachun barely made his escape, hiding in the woods. There, Estellaria found him and Cachun lost his heart anew. |

Estellaria was the one that found Cachun after he had been attacked by Claudius. She offered him to accompany her and showed him great kindness and warmth. Cachun immediately fell for her. He is amazed by her enthusiasm and how she spreads joy. He became part of the Sunshine Squad without hesitating to spread joy in the lair. And a part of him just wants to be close to Estellaria and maybe impress her. |
