Disgruntled, Schnee stared off into the distance. What were those idiots thinking?! That she’d return to them and play their babysitter? That she’d spend all her life in a dumb cave, waiting for it all to end? No! She had been born to achieve more! To achieve something greater! She had been born to serve a deity, fight back the shade, gain glory and fame! She had been born so that bards would sing songs about her, that all Sornieth would know her name! And still… those idiots were stuck in her head. Schnee growled loudly. Something inside of her was pulling her back to Starwood Strand… and she knew she’d have to follow.

Personality

Schnee is determined and ambitious. Since she was a hatchling, she dreamed of a fate that would lead her to greatness. She hoped for her charge to be of great importance, to be chosen to protect something of value for the entire world. When she felt her destiny lying with the rather small Rose Spar, she was disappointed and refused to accept the lair as her charge. While by now, she likes the lair and feels responsible for them, she still dreams of her name going down in history.

Schnee is a silent and grim dragon, ending most conversations with a huff before they have really begun. Not few dragons are scared of her. But Schnee does her best when it comes to protecting the clan. She is responsible to train those who cannot fight and accompanies all expeditions into the wilderness.

Background

Schnee originates from a lair far away from Starwood Strand. When she was old enough, she set out to search for her charge, as it was tradition for Guardians in her clan. Schnee was convinced her charge would be an important one, something to shape Sornieth's history.

During her search, she encountered one of Claudius’ body guards. While Schnee wasn’t really aiming to join the Arcanist, the guardian still decided to chase her off… something Schnee disapproved of greatly. The two guardians started growling, roaring, and finally attacking each other. Hearing the noise of their fight, Claudius and his second bodyguard joined the scene. Schnee found herself outmatched and fled.

Wounded more in her pride than physically, she stumbled across the Rose Spar. Ornes volunteered to treat her wounds and Schnee accepted. She left early the next day, planning to never return. But fate had something else in mind.

Something about the Rose Spar was holding her, calling to her when she tried to leave. Schnee herself can still not explain the feeling, but it makes her stay. So, she returned soon after leaving.

Even though Schnee has the feeling her destiny lies with the lair, she is hesitant to call the lair her charge. Instead, she still hopes for a greater destiny, to go down in history. Until she finds this destiny though, she has made it her duty to teach the other dragons of the lair how to protect themselves. She joins them on their expeditions to find out the truth about their missing colors, and cleaves them a way through the enemies.

Relationships

Best Friend 47389522p.png
Monde
invisibleinvisible

The relationship between Schnee and Monde is a strange one. There is rarely a day the two of them don’t fight or at least quarrel. Often, their loud roars and display of bare teeth will resonate through the corridors of the lair. They spar and test their strength against each other. Schnee enjoys seeing Monde growing stronger a lot and gladly invests the time to train him. Sometimes, she even plays easy on him to grant him a sense of achievement… even if she has to listen to him bragging about “almost winning” for quite some time after that.
