Faraille let her gaze wander through the cave. Crystals in all shades of rose and pink covered the dark grey walls. Someone had brought a candle down here; its light made all the crystals shine and shimmer. Faraille felt warmth spreading in her chest. This was beautiful. She turned her head slightly and looked at Ornes, who also stared at the crystals in awe. Faraille felt the corners of her mouth twitch. It seemed they had found a new home.

Faraille is a very calm dragon female, speaking only little and with a low voice. To many, she may seem distant, melancholic, and hard to get through to. Some even would describe her as cold and unapproachable. She often stays to herself and seeks little contact with other dragons. However, one who looks closely will see that there is more to her than just a cold façade. With both her son Ornes and her foster-daughter Auriga, Faraille has a very close and loving relationship. But also with other dragons that have the courage and patience to get to know her, Faraille shares a deep friendship. Once Faraille feels confident around you, you are considered part of the family. If you ever are in need of a kind word or motherly advice, Faraille has you covered. Sometimes, however, she will need your support and kindness when struggling with herself and her fate. |
Background

Faraille originates from an old and great lightning lair. Shortly after growing up, she lost her heart to a young and proud Skydancer in her lair, Merlot. The two of them became mates and Faraille soon chose Merlot as her charge. From their loving relationship, their son Ornes was born, as proud and strong-willed as his father. Faraille was completely taken up in her role as family protector and mother and she could not think of anything more valuable to spend her time with. But then, tragedy struck. A grave sickness befell Merlot and Faraille could do nothing but watch her beloved partner and friend slowly fading. As a Guardian who saw herself unable to protect her charge, Faraille sank into deep apathy. She did not know how to move on after Merlot’s death and blamed herself for being weak and not keeping her promise to protect him. It was thanks to Ornes that Faraille could finally move on. He pushed her forward, and her urge to protect her son and his support helped her accepting her past. They left the old lair together, searching for a place to start over new. They found this place with the Rose Spar. |

Ornes is Faraille's beloved son. After her mate Merlot died, Faraille was sure she'd never be able to move on. Ornes, however, unwilling to let the tragedy take his mother from him, urged her to keep on going. His stubbornness and her melancholy often clashed, leading to many fights between the two. But in the end, Ornes won. Faraille is deeply impressed by her sons strength and admires the man he has become. |

Even though Faraille had sworn herself to never again take a living being into her care, the tiny Spiral hatchling warmed her heart immediately. Auriga was tiny and helpless and whenever Faraille tried to push her away or give her into someone else's care, Faraille soon after would hear her faint sobbing. Faraille felt the little Spiral was as lost as she herself had been only a short time ago. So she adopted Auriga and is a loving mother to her. |
