Biography

Toxic - 3 Years - Wish Giver - Death Bringer

Toxic walked through a small, but dense, forest. She’d fly, but her wings froze from a large snowstorm. She slithered through the shadows of the non-snow covered forest, only her shining green markings making her stand out. She knew her markings met something, but she did not know what yet. She slithered to the edge of the forest and behind a pile of rocks as a patrol passed her. One of the dragons stopped. The dragon looked straight at her as she ducked behind the rocks. Perring out again, she saw a mud-ish brown spiral with green cloaks and Arcane eyes. She came up to her. “Hello. I am Actius. I am a hunter in Diamond Caverns, a cavern full of dragons, most rescued dragons from outside of our lands. What brings you here today?” She looked at him cooly. “May I speak to your leader? Presuming you have one?” He nodded and led her to the patrol. He explained to an imperial what he was doing. As they walked along a trail, probably walked many times due to a rut in the ground, he picked up food that was buried. She looked at him curiously. “We hide our food from other predators, and it also keeps it fresh.” She nodded, understanding. They arrived at the cave, and a white dragons with beautiful purple wings greeted her. “Hello. I am Moonlight, the leader of Diamond Caverns. Why has Actius brought you here?” She hesitated for a moment, preparing herself. “I am Toxic, and Actius found me during his patrol. He brought me here, but I will leave if you wish.” Moonlight chuckled. “You are more than welcome. I see your wings are freezing. Was it from the severe snowstorm?” She nodded. “I see. Well, come inside. Actius, take her to Edrael.” Actius nodded. “Will do Moonlight. Come on, Toxic.” Toxic followed him, dragons staring at her. Edrael greeted her with kindness, and… a hint of fear? “Hello. I am Edrael. I see your wings are frozen. I am a healer, so I can help you. Are any of your claws sore?” Toxic shook her head. Her claws didn’t hurt, but her wings were still cold. She watched Edrael put some moss around her wings. “It will help warm your wings, as well as provide water for the hatchlings and their caretakers.” She blinked her gratitude, noticing Edrael was looking closely at her markings. Toxic knew that dragons with weird markings like her and Edrael’s were normally a symbol for a power. “Edrael, I see you have markings. What is your power?” Edrael looked up surprised. “Oh, my power? It’s detecting healing herbs. I’ve had it since birth, but never knew what my power was until I became a healer here.” Toxic blinked at her in disbelief. So it was that she had to figure it out through her action. “Based on my markings, what could my power be?” Edrael flipped through her book. “Well, bright green can be poison, wish giving, or healing. If it was healing, though, your wings wouldn’t have froze. Let’s first test poison.” Edrael passed Toxic a dead mouse. “Sink your teeth into it. If it fizzes with green bubbles, you have poison.” She obeyed. She sank her teeth into it. After a bit, it fizzed. They were a pale cream-green color. “So, you have poison. Should we try wish giving?” Toxic nodded. So I can kill, she though inwardly. Edrael waited for her to be ready. “I wish for a full healing potion. Now, your horns should-” Edrael broke off as what she predicted what would happen. Toxic’s markings glowed and shimmered, as if every star came into her markings. A full potion bottle soon settled in front of Edrael. She stared in surprise. She never heard of a marking dragon having more than one power. “I knew you were a different marking dragon.” Edrael’s voice was filled with joy. “Am I able to be a hunter? Is my poison deadly to those who would eat poisoned prey?” She smiled as Edrael responded. “No, it will only kill those who are bit, not who eat any killed by the poison.” Moonlight walked in, with the young imperial who lead the patrol that had Actius on it. “Are you feeling better Toxic? Vice, take the soaked moss to the hatchling cave. Well Edrael?” Edrael bent her head in respect, then looked back up. “She is the only marking with two powers. Wish giving and poison. No, it doesn’t kill those who eat poisoned prey. They’ll only die if she bites them.” Moonlight looked back to Toxic. “So, will you be a hunter?” Toxic hesitated for a moment. “Yes. I will be a hunter. And I can also help Edrael when her potion stock runs low.” She was filled with joy as Moonlight her fully, and announced it to the cavern.

Toxic sat outside the hunter den when one of the guards, Vicelord, though called Vice, came to sit next to her. “How are you adjusting?” His voice was calm. “I’m fine.” They both knew that at this point, some dragons would assume they are mates, and they believe they both should. “Toxic, will you be my mate?” She smiled lightly, “Of course!”

Toxic walked through a small, yet fairly dense forest. She didn't like walking but her wings had frozen solid after a snowstorm blew through. She would have liked to be hidden in the shadows from her black scales, but her shimmering green markings allowed her to see in the dark forest she had walked into. She heard of dragons with markings like hers, and knew most of them, if not all, had a power from them. She didn't know what power she had, except that maybe it could be poison. It's said that a marking hatchling possess their powers for a few weeks, or until the hatchling opens their eyes. Then the power goes away only to later be re-discovered. Some dragons believe it happens as to help name the hatchling. Was this where Toxic got her name from?
Toxic arrived to the edge of the forest as early dawn light just began to light up the snow-covered field in front of her. She spotted four dragons padding along together. One of them looked at her, and she ducked back, hoping they didn't see her. Snow crunched, then stopped. A sniff, then more snow crunching. Finally, the dragon who saw her stopped in front of her she looked up, terrified. Now sh got a good look at them. No, him, she thought, picking up his male scent. His scales were a deep red-brown, with lighter, peachy colored scales. He has Arcane eyes, and wore green camo.
"Hello, I am Actius. I hunt for Diamond Caverns, a clan of dragons whom live in the mountains," he finished, pointing his tail towards the mountains."
"Hello, A-Actius. I won't reveal my name, but I'd like to meet your leader, presuming you have one."
"Right this way. Oh, I see your wings are frozen," he said, examining her wings. "Don't worry. We can walk, then our healer should be more than glad to help you."
Toxic followed him. He took her to the patrol and whispered someone to one of the imperials. The imperial nodded, then they continued. They stopped near a shrub, as Actius began to dig. "What are you doing?"
"I'm gathering some prey we caught," he explained, pulling out some rabbits. "We store our food we've caught for two reasons. One, it stays fresh longer and allows us to hunt more before heading back. Two, it keeps it safe from predators.

Toxic walked through a small, dense forest. The black spiral sneaked around the forest, carefully placing her feet down. She didn't like walking all that much, but after a long blizzard, her wings had become cold and she was hardly able to move them. Toxic's green markings shined bright in the dark forest, clearly standing out to any dragon who may have been paying at least slight attention. As Toxic crept through the forest, she suddenly remembered an old memory...
"Toxic, now remember. You can't bite another dragon. You'll kill them."
"Why?" The young black spiral stared at her mother, curious as to why she shouldn't defend herself if needed.
"Because you're bite will poison anything. Leaves, prey, plants, and, of course, another dragon. You need to be careful."
Toxic didn't full understand, but decided that she would never purposefully harm another dragon.

As Toxic's memory faded, she shook her head. Of course she didn't have a poisonous bite. Everything she's killed and eaten hasn't killed her. Maybe her mother was just trying to scare the young spiral in attempt to keep her from killing anyone. As she neared the edge of the forest, she caught sight of a group of dragons, five of them. A spiral, two tundras, a coatl, and a pearlcatcher. She knew they were talking, but she was too far to make out the words. As she tried to move closer, the spiral whipped his head towards her, and Toxic quickly ducted beneath a bush. Definitely not the best choice, but the easiest. The branches scrapped against her body, causing at least one or two cuts. But she didn't move. As she heard footsteps come towards her, she moved farther back. Bright pink eyes and a dark red face peered into the bush.
"Come out, I know you're in there." The male spiral stared into the bush directly at Toxic. Toxic came out from under the bush slowly, sniffing the air to see if the others were around. They weren't. He came alone. Toxic was cautious. She worried she would need to defend herself.
"I am Actius, a hunter and border watch of my Clan. Why are you in our territory?"
"I'm not sure, I was kicked out of my home and began to wander alone. I can leave if you want."
