qHh09a4.gif More reclusive than some spirits, the only reason Sylvan isn't considered a fable is because he's visited some villages before. Mostly because he was interested in their music and dances.
He seems to be a normal dragon from what others have seen of him, nothing strongly suggests that he's a spirit other than his quick and reclusive nature. If one can catch him alone, he's even quite friendly and talkative. Someone even said that they asked him a favor and he agreed, and the meat of a wild deer was left on their doorstep, wrapped in clean leaves the day after, just as they'd asked.
Some people like to speculate that he's friends with all the other reclusive dragons that wander out in the forests. Since he's never around to shoot those theories down, they continue to circulate around villages. He probably doesn't care that much about them anyways.

HISTORY
Oytm1KC.gif He hatched alone within the forests. Perhaps by luck, or perhaps by fate, a lone spirit took him in and gave him food and shelter. He was given love by them, perhaps not the way the parent would, but more in the way of a gardener nurturing their plants. He did not learn of dragonkind until he was much older, and the spirit had disappeared without a trace. He holds no bitterness towards the spirit though, he's merely thankful that he was given a chance at life.
He rather enjoys the dragons that he's met and the villages, but he's always uncertain of how to approach them, even though they've only shown him kindness when he's been lured in by their music. He wasn't raised with them after all, so their customs are a mystery. He hasn't realized that they aren't all that different from him, but perhaps one day he'll see that and feel less afraid engaging with them...

Sylvan's got such a strong deep-woods-canopy-punctuated-by-filtered-rays-of-sunlight / fireflies aesthetic going on. Love how you play up their earthy, muted primary / secondary with the bow, antlers, spats, and woodbasket while accenting the almost bio-luminescent quality of their tert with the candles and pops of gold. Runner up to Lyra who looks amazing in the new apparel set!

Feel free to choose anyone but if you wanna stick to permas they end with Niente on page 2.
